Dear Mister Condo,
I am the President of a HOA in CT. I want to share with other Condo Presidents significant savings I’ve uncovered independent of the Management Co. Is there a list of Condo Board Presidents that I could contact?
Mister Condo replies:
F.L., what a great way to start off the New Year! There are a few ways I can think of for you to share what you have found out. If you are a member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI), you can always log on to the website at http://www.caionline.org/. Once logged in you can head to the Message Board section at https://exchange.caionline.org/home and create a discussion group by posting your message. If you want to share information locally, the CT Chapter of CAI is working on a new feature of their website that will allow you to do so. Visit http://www.caict.org/ for more details. Finally, you can post some information here by sending me an email at askmistercondo@askmistercondo.com. I’ll be happy to post a few tips and insights from you, F.L.. Thanks for writing. Happy New Year!

Contacting other condo board presidents?
This has been a real frustration to me. Not even CAI is set up to provide a list of officers of condominium associations, or even condo associations themselves.
As eager as I am to learn and share with my peers, I can’t even find them! – And the very few I have managed to find seem to shy away from contact.
Why is this?
