R.Q. from Hudson County, New Jersey writes:
Dear Mister Condo,
How can I obtain condo master deed?
Mister Condo replies:
R.Q., condominium Master Deeds are typically found in the township, city, county or other municipal body responsible for keeping land records for where the condominium is physically located. You should be able to visit the recordkeeping office and request or pay for a copy of the Master Deed. Alternatively, you could hire a title company who is familiar with the exact process for producing the Master Deed. You may even have a copy of your Master Deed included in your own closing documents from when you purchased your unit within the association. All the best!
