Dear Mister Condo,
If you have a thank you letter template to send to a resident/homeowner for taking care of a compliance violation.
Mister Condo replies:
T.C., that is a very thoughtful idea on how to thank a home or unit owner for acknowledging and taking corrective action after they have been cited for a compliance violation letter. How about something like this?
“Dear Homeowner,
This letter is to inform you that you have corrected the compliance violation (Violation reference) on (Date). Please accept the community’s thanks for your prompt attention to this matter.
Respectfully,
HOA Board Members on behalf of ABC HOA”
Compliance is what keeps HOAs and condos in top shape. Conformity is important to the overall management of the community. When homeowners make a compliance violation, either willfully or mistakenly, it is important that the Board act correctly. Thanking the homeowner for taking corrective action is a great way to build community. All the best!
