Dear Mister Condo,
What are the ramifications of not being able to fill HOA board positions in the state of Connecticut?
Mister Condo replies:
D.M., finding volunteers to serve on the condo association’s Board of Directors can be challenging, especially if the condo is poorly funded, rundown, or full of difficult unit owners. However, the consequences of not having a Board of Directors can be dire and lead to the downfall of the entire association, putting all homeowners at significant risk.
